The Magic Behind OpsCanvas – Generative IaC (Product Demo)
Jason Turim, the CTO and Co-Founder of OpsCanvas, demonstrates the process of cloning an environment using Generative IaC (Infrastructure as Code). The cloning process takes under 30 seconds, and in that time, the IaC is generated, and the environment’s repository is initialized. The deployment process can then take up to 40 minutes, during which the provision logs can be monitored. Once deployed, Jason shows that each customer gets their own Git repository, with the IaC for each environment stored in a branch. He highlights the amount of code generated, including networking, EKS database, Kubernetes pod installation, and certificates. He concludes by showing the environment details in the app, including the install log, service URL, and cluster commands.
